PLO8 question...
You have AA26 single suited on the button. pot size raise preflop and still get 5 callers.
The flop comes 4 5 5 no flush draw Early position player bets 2/3 pot. 2 callers. This is an automuck, right? At the loose tables, I fold this a lot and then some donk with A3 sticks around and makes a low. I can't figure out if Im being too weak or they're just playing bad and getting lucky. Am I too afraid of being quartered? |

Re: PLO8 question...
having AA2 versus A2 just reduced your chance of being 1/4ed by a third. and if there;s 3 others still in the hand, being 1/4ed isn't going to hurt as bad as heads up anyway.
yes, that seems a terribly weak fold given the pot odds you were facing. |

Re: PLO8 question...
Yes, you are playing weak tight. Call and if the turn gives you the low, you should be going through the river, possibly raising to knock out someone with a 5.

Re: PLO8 question...
If you were going to be HU on the flop I would fold, 3 way I think that it is close, but 4 way I think that you have to call and see the turn.

Re: PLO8 question...
Hmm... I disagree. HU, I would most certainly call, maybe raise. If you aren't willing to, you will get run over (at least at $200 and above).
