Nebraska(-7) vs Wake Forest, somebody talk me down

First of all, I'm a Nebraska alum. That being said I don't think I am looking through scarlet & cream colored glasses about how good my team is. The defense looked decent last week and the offense looked anemic and had trouble holding onto the ball.

That being said. Is there a reason they should not cover this spread. Wake Forest is not a good team and they will be playing in Lincoln. The Huskers turned the ball over about 6 times last week which cost them about 2 scores. If they protect the ball (If,If,If) and play defense this year I would think they cover this spread easily.

But, the current line is -7(EVEN). Somebody, somewhere, who knows more than me is loading up on WF. Somebody keep me from betting on this game PLEASE!!!

I'm from Nebraska so of course I gotta pick em (6.5 too). It's the o/u that I'm debating about. But since they only had one offensive touchdown last week agaisnt Maine [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] and their defense looks pretty good I'm gonna give the under (44) a shot.

A good bet as it turns out. I don't know what the o/u will be next week but that may very well be the bet to take on the Huskers all year. Another good game by the D with very little offense to be found.
