Default Top pair low kicker - decision on turn?

Check raise flop, check raise turn. I was thinking he was on draw after flop c-r. Should I just check the turn? Bet/fold?

Against a normal villain you can fold to the turn raise.

I would have checked through the turn and called the river if he bet, but since you did bet and were raised I probably would have folded here.

SBs line is pretty strange. Do you have any reads on him?
Without a read I would have bet the turn and called a raise. I would have bet the river.

I found it pretty damn strange too. I had played only 3 hands with him on the table.

He showed AJos. Like I said, pretty damn strange.

Turn bet is fine. Your hand is too vulnerable to risk a free card; I probably would have put him on an OESD too.

I'd usually check the turn. Opponent is out of position, making it a little less likely he's trying a free card play, IMO. Might be wrong about that. If it's just one bet on the river to me I'll call.

The way it went down, you should probably fold to the turn raise, but I'll often call out of spite. Easy river check.
