i'd also bet, but I really don't think this is the sort of table where you want to be raising QTo in MP.

Ya. Hope he helps to protect your hand by raising. I would 3bet that flop if he did raise too.

Re: QT confusion, what\'s your plan?
I would bet on flop.
PF I think you are better off limping here. Given these opponents, raising won't get them out and when you raise the pot is big enough that they are getting the right odds to call on most flops (and they definitely will call). If you limp then they are making a mistake calling when you hit the flop and the miss. Also, if you miss the flop then you have invested less. |

Re: QT confusion, what\'s your plan?
well you're not gonna be able to steal blinds or get it headsup so you're almost never gonna be able to take pot unimproved after flop. So if you are gonna raise, it should be because you have an equity edge. Although these guys will call two loosely, I don't think you have the requisite equity edge to raise since you're gonna be OOP postflop.
I'd say Folding > Limping > Raising. Limping at least keeps the pot small allowing you to maximize the errors people make postflop. It also doesn't give anyone the chance to 3bet you with a better hand. You are a good playear though bugstud. Maybe my thinking is flawed? |
