Default A few 1/2 hands

My first hand post. YAY! No reads to speak of, just some hands I'm picking out of the last week or so.

Hand #1:
-------------
I feel dirty about capping the turn here. A PF fold sounds better to me now.

Hand 1 -

Fold preflop. I'm playing this type of hand only after a lot of loose bad players have limped in. I think I 3-bet the flop. I don't like the turn cap.

Hand 2
Looks good.

Hand 3
Flop looks good to take one card off for your backdoor draws and overcard outs. Turn is a tough one, depending on reads I think you have to call down.

I'd 3-bet the MP2 raise to try to knock out the Button. Middle and Bottom Pair is vulnerable.

TURN: Just calling the 3 bet looks prudent. I would suspect being up against Aces over or a set.

It's better to just put one hand per post.

Hand 1: raise or fold preflop. It's fine to wait till the turn to raise again since everyone else dropped out and the board is uncoordinated anyway. Don't cap the turn. That river cards sucks.

Hand 2: standard.

Hand 3: yuck. I don't really see how your hand could possibly be good at the river, and it's really not good enough to overcall. I think you're tied with UTG+1 and behind to MP2's AQ/QQ (unless MP2 is *completely* insane with KK). The pot is very big, but i don't think you're good even 1 in 19 times.

Hand 1

I fold preflop but if you did play I would've 3bet the flop. There's a good chance MP2's check/raising top pair. I would cap to try to get button to fold.

Hand 2

Standard

Hand 3

You're right on betting the flop. With only 3 players and backdoor strt/flush draws to the nuts I bet this flop.

What does betting the flop accomplish?

i'm with tyler: you aren't winning this hand with a bet on the flop and only getting HU with a possible made hand (figuring the capper will reraise). because of your BD draws, it is an easy check/call. you want dead money to contribute when you get a made hand. betting this flop into a PRF capper is unwise.
