Default Can I call this turn?

I realize I probably shouldn't be raising this preflop, so let's just skip that

I led out the flop because I've got gutshot + 2 overcards + bdfd. There's enough value there that I think I can bet.

Turn doesn't do much for me, but I'm wondering if I can profitably call and draw to this river?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 5 folds.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

River: (8.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, Hero 3-bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 15.25 BB

Are you betting just for value? (i.e. If everyone calls you're making money.) How many outs do you give yourself?

I give myself 4 outs for the gutshot, 1.5 for the backdoor, and 3 for the overcards, so 8.5.

Don't raise this preflop.
I like the flop bet against 2 opponents.
On the turn you have 4 outs for your straight, and 2 overcards propably worth about 1.25 each so a total of 6.5 outs. So a call is fine.
River = standard.

JT aren't great overcards since they could easily be dominated, (particularly with your PF raise from EP) and you're susceptible to redraws if you hit on the turn.

You didn't answer my other question, though. Are you betting just for value? (If so, you may want to check your pot equity with <8.5 outs.)

Now, if you said you were betting with a decent hand plus some fold equity, I could go with that.

I believe by raising UTG with a marginal hand, you're limiting the hand to you and others with better hands than you. Since I'm still a newb, someone correct me if my thinking is wrong.
