Simple Flop Quickie
5/10 Party 6-max
I pickup AJsJ2 in the CO and raise a UTG limper. Blinds and limper calls. 4 to the flop of KK5 rainbow. Checked to me and I bet. The point of this hand isn't the results so I will just tell you know that they all folded, but should I be fearing a king here and check behind? |

Re: Simple Flop Quickie
After raising preflop you have some folding equity on that flop. You're fine to bet on that flop, but give it up if someone calls/raises.

Re: Simple Flop Quickie
You'd rather find out now if you have any opposition for half price.

Re: Simple Flop Quickie
There are 45 unseen cards. With 3 opponents, that is 12 cards out. You need none of those 12 to be a K, which means just under half the time no one has a K (or 55) here. Since they are likely to fold and you risk only 1 small bet to win the pot, I’d conclude this was a good continuation bet vs. most opponents.
