High Stakes Full Tilt Stud
I logged on earlier to watch Ivery play some guy heads up at Omaha Hi/Lo, they were playing 1K-2K which is friggin sick and only had about 50K each which seems really small stacks but anyway I digress. I noticed they hae 50-100 and 1-2 Stud and Stud 8/B anyone know if these games are ever running? I think it would be cool just to watch once in a while.

Re: High Stakes Full Tilt Stud
I usually buy in for 25 BB when I play O/8. How about you?

Re: High Stakes Full Tilt Stud
Yeah I thought it seemed really low. They were at a nine handed table but there was just the two of them, so that might have impacted it, but still. I also noticed that they have a 200-400 Stud game as well. Just 1-2 for 8/B though. I still can't believe Ivey was playing 1K-2K, that is insane for online. Has to be a record for highest game ever spread online I would imagine.

Re: High Stakes Full Tilt Stud
I think you misunderstood my meaning. $50k is 25 BB at $1k/2k, which is a pretty standard buy-in, I think.
$1k/2k may be insane for on-line, but it is certainly not insane for Phil Ivey, who regularly play higher than that. What is insane is that someone was willing to play him heads-up. |

How much HU do most people play, ever? |

Re: High Stakes Full Tilt Stud
I used to play quite a bit of heads-up live, mostly hold'em. Probably nothing compared to a 2005 on-line specialist, but not an insignificant amount, either. Problem is that with the boom, games tend to be full nowadays.
I suspect that Ivey has played more than his share of heads-up poker, and that he could probably cut up most on-line specialists, not that I know what I'm talking about, either. Have I ever mentioned my love of beer? |

crypt almost always has a 300/600 pound holdem game running.... that's probably the biggest consistent game
