Question about table selection

I opened up a few 6-max tables yesterday (max. buy-in $10), and found that the biggest stack was $4.50. This same phenomenon appeared on most of the tables i opened. Is it beneficial for me to buy-in for the full $10 and have the table well covered, or should i just find a table with people with deeper stacks, to maximise the payoff on my bigger hands?

I wouldnt sit in these games, i dont like playing in games /w out fullstacks as it is hard to maneuver when someone has <100 BB's
