Borgata WPT question
Howdy. I have never played at a B&M, but do very well online in cash games and tourneys (about 40% ITM). I saw that the WPT is just 90 minutes away from me next weekend (I am in NYC).
So I'm thinking of going. Any recommendations on which tourney to join, given my zero experience at a B&M? Or should I not even bother since I've never played at a B&M? |

Re: Borgata WPT question
40% ITM, you must be one hell of a tournament player.

Re: Borgata WPT question
You probably don't want to hear this, but you should come out for a day in advance and try out a smaller buy in tournament first, and then come back for the WPT event with a buy-in you feel most comfortable with. Most people don't play their best poker at their first trip to a B&m or their first live poker because there is a lot to take in. Also, they play out much differently than online.

Click the arrow button under the details columns and they tell you what you are playing for. The $75 buyin you are playing for a seat to Event #2 on September 12, 2005.
