PokerStars
Thinking of opening an account there and had a few questions:
Is the first deposit bonus 20%? How would it be clearing the bonus at the 1/2 level? How are the Omaha/8 games? Are there usually 1/2 tables available? |

Re: PokerStars
All games are pretty plentiful. $1/$2 clears pretty slow, about $3.74 according to bonuswhores.com. $2/4 is alot faster.

The bonuses also never expire so even if you find it slow going at 1/2 you can let it go and come back later when you're playing 2/4 or whatever. |

Re: PokerStars
You need a $10 pot to get a point I believe.
Tournament vigorish also counts towards clearing, it is pretty generous. I believe it works out to $ for $. From what I remember, there are not a lot of full ring 1/2O8b games, but a few 6 max, been a while since I looked. PS is not my favorite site for Omaha. I play S8b and Holdem there mostly. I like party and UB for Omaha. |

The tournaments give you the most play and it's essentially a free vig tournament. |

Re: PokerStars
Stars has no first deposit bonus, but there is a re-load bonus (usually 20%) about once a month which applies to everyone.
Right now (9:30 PST Monday) there are seven $1/$2 O8 tables - one 10-handed, five 6-handed, and one 5-handed. |
