Default Dry Cleaning

My job doesn't require a suit, so I only wear one for weddings and other formal events. How often should I dry clean my suits? After every n times I wear them (n=?), or just when they get visibly dirty?

On a related note, the local mom-n-pop dry cleaner charges $10 a suit, am I getting screwed?

If they're sitting in a closet for months at a time, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get them cleaned before each use. If you're using them frequently, 3-5 uses (pending how clean you keep them when you wear them). $10 sounds OK.

I'd be saving a lot of money if I didn't spill food all over myself like a tool. At least I avoid the tie most of the time.

Unrelated: Curveball rocks; it seriously needs a 2 player version.
