Default Overplaying my draw?

$200 PLO8. No reads because even if I was paying attention, I wouldn't know what to look for.

UTG limps, I follow with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Folded to SB who completes. BB makes it $5. We all call. 4 to the flop for $5 each.

Flop is 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB bets out $10. UTG folds.

How do I play this draw? Is it even playable? I have the nut flush draw as well as a solid low although the chance of A2xx being out is very likely. Should I just get out or is this a hand I can push?

I would flat call here to try to get SB to follow along. You have position, with potential nut/nut hand with a raiser betting into you.

Others will probably pot it here, but I would prefer to slow play.

However I very much doubt that you will find anyone who advocates getting out!

This is a situation where you needed to be paying attention. Specifically, you need to know if your opponents will fold a nut low draw. If they will not, calling is best. Get out if a low non-club card comes and you're facing a big bet.

Aside from them showing you their cards I don't think any amount of attention would give you this information. All you see is cards going into the muck when they fold a nut-low draw.

Call and wait for the turn card then your decision process will start all over. Odds are he has A2xx when he made it $5.

Hmm... It might take some advanced philosophical logic, but I think I could deduce something about playing style from looking at the hands that did go to showdown as well as the situations in which the players folded.

I don't think the average player folds the nut low draw ever. I pushed this way too hard and got very lucky. I raised the flop bet and pushed the turn. Yucky. Anyways, both called and a 2 hit the river to give me the low. Shorty had A2 and both of them had clubs. Whoops. Thanks everyone.
