Flop: (t150) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets t75, BB calls t75, UTG+1 raises to t150, Hero calls t150, Button calls t150, SB raises to t945 (All-In), BB folds, UTG+1 calls t795, Hero ???? With 2 people already All-In, I guess I have the odds to chase the nut flush, but is it the right thing to do? |

Re: Monster pot being created what do I do?
At the moment you have 25% of your stack in the pot and 2/1 chance to double up, I think you have to call here with the nut flush draw

Yes it is the right thing to do and it's not close.

Re: Monster pot being created what do I do?
Why not raise preflop?
You have position on the limper and AJs is a strong holding enough to raise against one limper on the 10+1. On the flop you must call. |

Re: Monster pot being created what do I do?
Am I an idiot for wanting to fold this after the reraise by UTG+1 to 150?
My reasoning is that: 1. with raise and reraise, I'm not gonna make my hand for cheap and bust them for alot of money anymore. 2. If I fold I still have 830 chips to play with, far from crippled. 3. Most importantly, I wanna get to the bubble where I can outplay them. Is my thinking terrible? BTW I completely understand and agree that going all in there is not the wrong move at all. Im just wondering about my approach. - Brian |

Re: Monster pot being created what do I do?
If you've got the odds (maybe plus some more, considering payout implications), you call.
Here, with a nut flush draw, and overs that should be good some of the time, I think this is a pretty clear call. However, I would have just pushed initially. Having 9 outs to the nut flush and 4-5 outs out of overs means you can semibluff very profitably there. |

I like calling here the least of your 3 options. |

Re: Monster pot being created what do I do?
I think you're against at least a set and have around 7 outs on average because there is guaranteed to be two diamonds here somewhere, but since it's an 11 and this is donkeyland I call anyway.
At a 109, I think I would fold, and to take a page from a newbie above, it would not be close. |
