Default leaderboard format help

My friends and I play a tournament every weekend, normally with about 6-9 players and occasionally 2 and 3 table tournaments. We wanted to start a leaderboard which awards points for placing 1st,2nd, etc. We are unsure of a format to use for this and I was wondering if I could get any ideas?

I award points based on the number of players in the tourney. Example, for a 10 player tourney, 1st gets 10, 2nd 9, 3rd 8, etc... 10th 1.

Check out the forums at www.homepokertourney.com, and also check out my website at www.homepokerclub.net - you can use this to schedule and record your points.

Search on my name- there have been several discussions recently about this, which I have participated in.

There may still be some from a few months ago as well.
