Default Fold turn?

MP hasn't been involved in too many hands and I haven't seem him go to showdown yet. he's about 23/14/1.8 after maybe 30-40 hands

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, MP calls, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (7 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, MP calls, SB folds.

Turn: (6 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Default Re: Fold turn?

IMO, this is going to be 99-JJ a lot that decided to wait for the turn. And that card is really quite good for them, considering you might only have AK.

With your effective odds you have to win about 17% of the time to call down here, but if a 9 or T comes off you can save a bet on the end, as there will be hardly anything that you beat. A J is a bit trickier, as you will still beat 99 and TT, and still lose to a slowplayed set. Calling will still probably be correct, but it is very close and I wouldn't be surprised if it were correct to fold if a J comes off.
