Default PokerAce Expires?

Just curious if there's a built-in date when this program will die.

---

BTW, this program is great! It's just as effective as PV, but easier to set up with the layout allowing snap to grid.

I'm a little curious about what good the "update every 5 hands if a person has less than 100 hands, every 10 if they have between 100 and 1k, etc." has... how much more memory efficient is this, and is it necessary to be mem efficient with our modern computer systems?

PokerAce expires for support purposes. I only need to worry about support for a version for 30 days. While in early development, this makes sure everyone is using an updated version.

The refresh method works like this:

If a player has 0 to 100 hands in your database, PA Hud will query the database for this player after the player has played 5 hands at the table you are showing stats for. This will happen every 5 hands.

By doing things this way, it avoids the problems that come with updating every player every X minutes. The database access is spread out during the time you play, so you won't experience lag which may happen if every player got queried at the same time.

Also, it helps cut down on database access by not updating players who have a ton of hands in your database. A player with 2000 hands in your database won't make too many changes in their play to affect their stats, so once every 10-20 hands is more than enough for those guys. However, the guy with 25 hands will have a much larger change in stats over 5 hands.

I hope this makes sense.
