I Just Quit Smoking
Today is my first day without a cigarette in a long time (not that long, but long enough). I'm using Nicorette mint flavored gum, it tastes pretty terrible. After chewing it enough, it tastes kind of like dip. I haven't gone crazy yet, I'm anticipating this happening sooner rather than later. Offer your support or insults please. Ok, thanks.

GL sir. My grandpa stopped smoking at 60 after smoking for 40 years and while most of the damage can't be undone, it no doubt extended a few good years on his life.

I never started smoking thank god. But do a search on the net for the paper related to what happens to your body the second you have your last cigarette. Its been a long time since Ive seen it.
But its something like: 1 hour, your lungs open up 1 day, your pink tissue starts comming back yada yada dont remember the specifics, I think it would be a good motivator to read everyday.

I usually never last more than 3 days tops, and mind you this is with a concerted effort, and a 30 dollar box of nicorette patches. I wish you the best of luck sir, however in your honor, I'm lighting up a grit right now [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
