How often against a certain opponent?

A guy is sitting to my direct right with VPIP 60 and PFR 30. When he doesn't raise, I'm willing to play 20% of my hands. When he does raise, I'm willing to play 16% of my hands.


How often will we be in the same hand together, assuming that as soon as we put a chip in, we're committed to the pot, and assuming that we're never in the blinds (wouldn't that be nice!)?

My answer:

0.30 * 0.2 + 0.3 * 0.16

= 0.06 + 0.048

= 10.8% of the time.

30% of the time he doens't raise, yet plays. so .3 x .2 = .06=6%

and 30% of the time he raises and you play 16%, so .3 x .16 =.048= 4.8%

which comes to 10.8% i think
