early position limper could be trapping but i was about 70-80% sure he was looking for a cheap flop. Button was a loose calling station that would call any pair or possibly a hand as weak as QTo

It's not the worst move in the world, kinda PVS-ish. I do it sometimes. Other times just complete. If I do it though I prefer not to with an ace-small if possible, because you tend to be dominated when they call (either with a pair, or higher ace)
