Is the draw good enough?
The usual 10/20 (with 1/2 kill). Nine handed. I am lost.
Previous pot is kill and the kill is posted by the elderly calling station/regular (generally poor player) directly on my right. BB is a relative unknown (but has been aggressive in a couple of recent hands). Hero in hijack with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Pre-flop: UTG folds. UTG+1 calls, MP calls, Kill-poster checks. Hero calls. CO folds. Button calls. Blinds complete. Flop (7 SB): 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks. BB bets . UTG+1 calls. MP folds. KP calls. Hero raises . Folded to BB. BB reraises . UTG+1 folds. KP calls. Hero calls. Three to the turn. Turn (8.5 BB): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB bets . KP raises . Hero ??? |

Re: Is the draw good enough?
Chuck-
1. Cap the flop. You might get a free card or something, and you have a clear equity edge with the nut draw and probably outs to trips and aces up. 2. Easy turn call. Herbie probably has a bare 4 or whatever. You probably have fewere outs now but the pot is easily big enough to merit continuing. |

Three considerations (paranoia?) on the turn: (1) Likelihood of being 3-bet (or capped) on the turn. (2) Likelihood that the only outs are to the flush (nut flush of course). (3) Likelihood that at least a couple of my outs are in the hand of one of my advesaries. Should these considerations play into my decision? |
