Default How would amputation affect alcohol tolerance?

Let's say someone had a leg amputated. How would their alcohol tolerance be affected?

(Inspired by a recent "Cops" episode with a drunk and disorderly one-legged teenager. His mom stole the show: "He don't drink proper. He guzzles.")

There is a distinct possibility the affected person would be able to drink like they have a hollow leg.

I have a friend with only one arm and one leg. He drinks about the same as he did before I think. He once told me he does not like the heat now though, he is always hot.

I assumed with less body you have more circulation. Same size heart pumping a smaller system than before so maybe this would raise the metabolism burning off booze faster than normal?? Just a guess I will ask him more next time I see him.
