Defining my hand
15/30 Hold Em local house game.
Board: 9h,7h,5h,Kd I have Ah,Th and announce that I have the "nut flush" which starts the argument that there is a straight flush possible and I don't have the nutz> I clarify the fact that I didn't announce as having the nutz, but rather the nut flush. 3 want to argue that the straight flush is the nut flush, the others remain neutral. I argue that a flush does not beat a full house and quads, only a straight flush does, making it a seperate and distinct hand from a flush. They don't buy it and continue to argue. We always have to have something to argue about....... I guess quad aces is now the nut two pair hand at that game. |

Re: Defining my hand
Regardless of the correct definition, I hope that this debate put everyone else on tilt and they started raising blind and stuff.

Regardless of the correct definition, I hope that this debate put everyone else on tilt and they started raising blind and stuff. [/ QUOTE ] We get this without an argument We have guys who will straddle and then raise preflop without looking at their cards. Sometimes, late in the evening, they'll go to the turn without looking And: There is no alcohol allowed |
