Re: Worst NL hand
7 2o UTG.
EDIT: Seriously. If you can't make it a winning hand by raising, there is no shame in limping it and playing for set value. |

Re: Worst NL hand
JJ UTG is absolutely the worst. Very stressful.
General rules: I raise ~4bb, call a modest reraise if there is one, fold to a push or if there are two raises behind me, and play it like a sissy little girl if: A. preflop was raised behind me or B. I get played back at when I lead at a flop that has an A, K or Q. This actually works well for me, and I am +EV in my last 10,000 hands, but it is never fun. What makes up for all the stress: when you called a reraise and the flop comes A J x. Ah, the joy of smoking AK like a cheap cigar... 2nd worst: having to play AA UTG after the flop (you just know you're betting into trips). |

Re: Worst NL hand
Eh? How are you ever going to get into much trouble with AK unless an AK flops?

Eh? How are you ever going to get into much trouble with AK unless an AK flops? [/ QUOTE ] Apparently the idea of continuation betting, or check-folding a raised pot, or raising/folding to a raise preflop, or any of a thousand things that any competent NL player should be able to do, is just anathema to some people. |
