My question is what is your plan if the river bricks (I like the flop and turn action as you played it)

ok so your pre-flop call is a bit questionable IMO, not bad but u really want to have position and know u r gonna have more players in the hand to make this +EV.

on the flop u r semi-bluff leading into 4 people on the flop. im not sure this is the best plan in the world, but again we can live with it. my line here is to check/call this flop.

assuming we check/call the flop i think we lead the turn when we pick up the extra outs. i like leading it for more than 1/2 pot, probably something like 2/3 pot. the reason being a good player in position will see this weak bet on the turn and force you to a tough decision with a monster draw. i think we either lead turn for 2/3 pot or check/call.

the river is a must lead, i like the amount you bet, looks good.

probably check/fold since I felt villain had the 7. I was kind of hoping to get it in on the turn but the pot wasn't big enought to warrant a C/R AI

table had a tendency to drop these hands with this kind of flop unless theres something they like about it. I didn't want to check/call some elses bluff and be going through the hand with no implied odds. I was hoping to narrow the field down to the person holding the 7 (bad thinking?).

seems like your line is fine....i'm curious why you posted this. If you are pretty sure villain has a 7 and doesn't have a full house you could have led a lot more on the river. This guy is weak/tight but even they would raise a full house here i'd think unless it was 4's full of 7's...but that seems ridiculously tight to me.

My default line if i'm pretty sure they have a big piece of this but are still behind me is to at least full pot the river, and maybe overbet it if I know they'll call...since he's weak/tight your line might be better.

preflop call is a little iffy, no big deal though.

you do have to lead the turn, so that is good, but the bet of 1/2 pot says (on the first level) you are weak or drawing, and what do you do if an opponent thinks that and comes over the top big? i guess it depends on stack and bet sizes at that point, but if you bet more i think you're more likely to remain in control of the betting which will pay you off better if you make your hand on the river. not sure if that makes sense, i'm tired.... but i'd bet more on the turn. other than that, looks good.
