Neteller vs. IGM Pay
I've been using IGM pay on Party since I opened my account. It seems like a great deal of people use Neteller to fund their accounts...but I'm not even sure how it works. If I just deposit via "online check" (not insta cash), it appears there is no fee. Am I going to run into any fees when transferring back and forth between party?
Basically...what advantages are there to using Neteller over IGM Pay or vice versa? |

Re: Neteller vs. IGM Pay
There are no fees unless you use Instacash
The advantage to having neteller is that it's accepted at virtually all poker rooms and casinos IGM-Pay is only accepted at Party skins |

Basically...what advantages are there to using Neteller over IGM Pay or vice versa? [/ QUOTE ] If you're playing strictly at party, there's no reason to get neteller. People use neteller to transfer money between various other online poker sites, since neteller is accepted everywhere. This allows you only need to prove your identity once. For normal use, there are no fees with either one. Neteller gives you some points you can use for raffles, which I assume are worth approximately nothing. cheers, highland |

Re: Neteller vs. IGM Pay
i have a lot of experience w/ them both...there are some great pro's and con's to both:
IGM: Its like writing a check in that the money doesn't come right out of your bank account, but it is available immediately in your poker account...this can be useful. Pain because party wont let you cashout until the last transaction has cleared and this always takes way too long. If you were to buy in today, win money instantly, then want to cashout, it would take at least a week to have the money back in your bank. AT LEAST. Free, no fee's ever. Neteller: A must have if you are going to be using many different sites. I personally fund my account w/ IGM and then shuttle it around to other sites w/ neteller. Cashing out of PP into neteller takes seriously like two hours. It is very very fast. You can then deposit into another site just as quick, this is good for clearing bonuses or if you have a short roll but want to play tourneys w/ big overlay etc etc. I'd reccomend having them both, as neither cost money to maintain. gl |

Re: Neteller vs. IGM Pay
Thanks for the replies. Another question. From what I can gather, the Neteller ATM card is about as -EV as a card could be?

Re: Neteller vs. IGM Pay
Unless you plan on making occasional big money withdrawals. Withdrawing $20 to be hit with upwards of $4 in fees from ATM and Neteller is not so fun.

Re: Neteller vs. IGM Pay
I've deposited, did well in a multi and wanted to cash out a sizeable portion pretty quickly. It did completely suck, having to wait for the check to clear and then the extra 2-3 days for the cashout to appear. I'm considering being a bonus whore in the upcoming months...so it looks like Neteller would be a worthwhile site for me.
