What is the most profitable # of players at the table? True or false The better players seek short handed/heads up games.... How bout win rates... Most players here view their winnings in terms of BB/100 hands played, and not to many seem to play heads up freeze outs (outside of HULA of course).
The answer to your question is - expert players can win a shitload- very good players quite a lot, good players a pretty good. Just become an expert and the cash will follow. |

I dont have numbers for you...the reason top players can make more per hour at very short games is there are more hands per hour. More hands per hour = more hands played with an advantage = more money. Mistakes add up quickly shorthanded, and if you have a couple bad ones you're going to do them over and over a lot in a short period of time and give your money away.

[/ QUOTE ] Here's something I've wondered. Yes, you can certainly play more hands per hour shorthanded "per table", but I find it much more difficult to play multiple tables. I can manage 4 tables, but given the added importance of reads in shorthanded play, this is suboptimal. Thus, am I really getting more "quality" hands per hour in? Anyone with thoughts on this? |
