Default Preflop situation

CO is 60/10/1
BB is 50/15/1

Folded to CO who limps ($3). Button folds. You post a $1 small blind and get A2o. Action?

I've been limping and folding to a BB raise.

The problem is I can't convince myself to raise this even if the BB has a low VPIP.

So what would you action be if the BB was 21/14/2.5?

The same. I don't want to put very much money in with A2o, especially out of position, completing is fine

ah yes, 1/3 blind structure... A2o I'd fold, not sure how big your Ax needs to be before you play it

i have had the Axo in the SB facing 1 limper debate many times - in a 1/3 blind structure game i like fold - in a 1/2 blind structure game i prefer complete or raise depending on my expectation of the BB folding

I usually fold this in a 1/2 blind structure, so I'd fold here. I think I raise A8o+/A5s+, sometimes complete A7o and complete all other Axs, and fold the rest (1/2 blind structure).

The rule of thumb I've always heard for the one and three chip blind structure is you shouldn't complete the SB with hands you wouldn't limp with on the button. So that makes this a fold.

This hand is pretty marginal even with a one and two chip blind structure.
