Default stars $300 NL tourney

my stack is like 4k. opponent has almost same as me but a little more. we're at 50/100 blinds i think, and i have 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in middle position. folds to me and i make it 300. one of the blinds i think calls. heads up

flop is 9 high with 2 spades. blind checks, i bet 350 or something like that. now the guy checkraises to 950. i move in.

no g00t?

id be more likely to push against a good player here...

if its a a straightforward abc player, youre likely in some trouble... pocket 10s prehaps

seems fine if the guy can think. You get A9ish hands to fold and 1010 probably. The times you do get called your still basically a coinflip against 2 big spades or what not. If he slowplayed AA/KK so be it.
