Re: QTs Spewing?
you had position on him, so i'd think that's all the control you need. once the ace flops and he bets into you, i'm calling. he's either beating you or bluffing; you're either charging yourself more to draw or stopping him from continuing to bluff.

Re: QTs Spewing?
Capping this flop is straight-up spewing. After he three-bets, there is basically no way you have equity greater than 50%, so you are losing money on every bet that goes in.
Villains who three-bet are also quite likely to lead back into you on the turn, so the free card idea is not great. (...capping for a free card very often fails...) |

Re: QTs Spewing?
yes. if there are really only 2 players, that means you capped the flop. trying to get a free card on the turn is desirable, but honestly, i feel that at least 75-80% of the time a turn 3-bet means the villain will lead the turn even if you cap it. the other 20-25% is when a scare card falls on the turn, in this case a heart, and maybe a T.
i think the flop is probably a raise/call, with a call being a close second. turn is a call. river is a fold. |

Re: QTs Spewing?
I think that raising the flop here is ok, but I don't like the cap. After he 3-bets, you won't get a free card from capping, and you certainly won't make him lay it down.
I may still raise, but I'm calling after that, and obviously capping if I hit. |

You might as well call the river.

You might as well call the river. [/ QUOTE ] I didn't even think of that. Yeah, you might as well, given the board has counterfitted any PP lower than 99, and he could have anything. |

Re: QTs Spewing?
I think I might raise the flop also. He could be playing blind defense by leading. Does anyone else think this is a mistake? However, after the three bet capping is spewing.
