Default Custom Chair

A while back someone posted a link to a really cool computer support setup. It was a chair with an aluminum frame. The frame held two flat screens in front of the chair, and there was an adjustable keyboard tray. The CPU mounted beneath or behind the chair. There was a channel for running the power cables and other cables for the monitors to the CPU. Does anyone have the link? I've tried using the search but can't get anywhere.

I saw two of those chairs on Sunday when I went to pay my internet bill. TRUE (the phone company here) had them set up. They each had two LCD monitors suspended from metal tubes that started as the base of the whole shebang, then rose upward behind the chair, ran over top of the chair and extended far enough out in front of it to hold the monitors. There was an elevated foot rest, an adjustable mouse table and separate KB table also. I sat in it to check it out. The monitors are a little too close for my comfort....but that can be fixed by loosening a few bolts and sliding the monitors out a bit.

I asked the clerk if those chairs were available for sale, but my command of her language is insufficient to achieve comprehension on her or my part .

Next time I'll get a couple of pix and post them.

G'luck,

I made a trip to Home Depot, bought some supplies and two days later I had a small "L" shaped desk on wheels. I have a laptop that sits in front of me and a second monitor in the corner. I now sit in a comfortable recliner while I compute and no longer suffer backpains at the end of the day.

You could spend $2k on one of those chairs or you can do what I did and spend $500 (supplies and recliner) and be comfy all day long

Whatever you do don't buy a stool. But if you do at least see if they have a stool sample you can try out before you purchase it.

I'm sorry- I couldn't resist.
