Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
This is a hand with another 2+2er. We know eachother, and afterwards he told me he layed down KK.

Re: Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
I'm thinking that's not so great?
Risking 2.5 (flop call) to win 7.5, so 1:3 he has 99, TT or KK, maybe KQs (22ish hands- but do all of these hands always lead the turn). But even TT and KK have gutshots and set draws has so I think they should call getting 9.5-1. AK/AQ/AJs/AA/QQ/JJ all look u up (12+8+2+3+3+3 = 32) |

Re: Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
Can you suggest an alternate line for the Hero? The only one I'd take is to fold the flop, since I don't think I'd get led into without villian having at least a J.
EDIT: Alta did the math for why I'd fold the flop, so thanks to him. What can I say, I guess I'm a "feel" player |

Folding the flop is the one

Re: Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
I think folding the flop is probably right here. I can see peeling one and either raising a low turn card or folding, but raising the Q is spewing against every conceivable hand SB has except KK. AA, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, KQ, AJ, etc. They're all going to showdown.

Re: Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
I know I didn't play it well. I just wanted a good story.
And yes, against 99% of players I fold the flop on this one. But it makes for a good pwnign if you ask me. And no, the turn is a call for him IMO. |

Re: Never trust a 2+2er! (no content)
depending on how often opponent caps prelfop and leads the flop and turn with 99, TT and KK this isn't so bad, but I don't think most people do it with these hands at least 2/3rds of the time, plus KK and JJ should call the turn raise I think. so its razor thin at best.

[ QUOTE ] He played it well. [/ QUOTE ] No. [/ QUOTE ] he's not expecting 88 to call an AQx flop after he cold capped then raise a J turn. his only mistake was expecting that you were playing reasonably, because he beats absolutely nothing reasonable on the turn. you have to have a set or maybe AK/AQ/AJ there every time |
