I blew my one big hand? But nobody showed any strength after 3-betting, I'm assuming like AK, AQ. Should I have checked the flop? I was betting the flop, EXPECTING to be raised.

Why you didn't three bet preflop is beyond me.

At party 2/4, when I flop a set, I just start betting. People love to raise me, so I let them.

If you 3-bet this preflop, it might get capped behind you, if not, they all call. Then they check to you, you bet, you bet, you bet.

You just got unlucky that no one had a huge pair in this instance.

Trust me when I say I'm an amature. But what happens when I 3-bet and the flop comes Axx or Kxx or Qxx or some of that mixture?

I dont know, these are things I learned playing .50-1.00

Depends on the opponent, and the draws that are on the board, and how you have been playing lately, that theyhave seen. THere is no clear cut answer. What I will tell you, I don't think I've ever 'not' three bet JJ preflop.

You gotta 3-Bet! For obvious reasons.

Also, after that monster flop you don't have to worry about slow playing. After taking the preflop lead it is only natural to lead out againt. The hand would play itself from there depending on the action.

In the event someone flopped an A Q or K, I usually bet again if I was the 3 Bettor. It depends on reads from there.

against 5 people like in this hand, be prepared to throw the hand way, BUT this is why you 3 bet you have to charge people for making mastikes, i think you should go read The Theory of Poker, should help you .
