Comments on this move- 1 Million Guar
Had been god awfully outrageously completely card dead for over an hour. Miniraises didn't mean much strength from first villian. I thought I had to make a move at somepoint and this seemed like a decent spot. 2 opponents would have been better, obviously.

Re: Comments on this move- 1 Million Guar
I like it better when they are all limpers, but I don't hate it.
What did the open min-riase mean? Did he do it often? I push if I have a good read on the open min-raiser. Regards, Woodguy |

Re: Comments on this move- 1 Million Guar
If I'm correct I think he may have thought he could get the blinds for cheap. Some minis had taken the blinds from MP2, hijack, cutoff. I certainly didn't read it as strength from him and the second caller was playing a lot of hands trying to see flops. He (2nd caller) had been up and down up and down and had shown nothing more than catching some lucky flops. Plus, I had played maybe 1 or 2 hands in last hour so my image at the table should have been pretty tight.

Re: Comments on this move- 1 Million Guar
If I don't have a solid read on a minraiser, I usually giver credit for a big hand looking for action...not always true, but until I know otherwise, it keeps me out of trouble.
Its good you looked like a rock, how did it work out? Regards, Woodguy |

Anyone else? It felt marginal when I did it- is that just pretty much the answer?

Re: Comments on this move- 1 Million Guar
It looks perfectly fine to me, and is probably the play I'd make in most situations. |

Results for Woodguy
Thanks, curtains. Makes me feel a bit better that you agree. As for the results:
First miniraiser folded as I thought, 2nd villian decided it was time to gambool and called, 3rd villian folded. Villian shows 88 and I get no help. Besides a fold and a weaker ace I guess that's the best I could have hoped for. Thanks, yabastid |
