Default NL 100 6 max, how would you play the turn to make the river easier?

NO READS.

Seat 2: HERO ( $772.70 )

Seat 6: VILLIAN ( $73.01 )

X posts small blind [$0.50].
X posts big blind [$1].
Dealt to Hero [ Qh Js ]
X folds.
Villian calls [$1].
HERO calls [$1].
X calls [$0.50].
X checks.

Flop: 7d, Jc, 8h
Villian bets 3, Hero is the only caller.

Turn: Jh
Villian bets 10 Hero calls 10.

River Ad
Villian pushes for $59.01

Is this an easy call?

I don't think I like how I played this hand. Do you think that I should have raised the turn?

Raise the flop if you're going to play.

i think a raise on the flop or turn is in order. I like raising the turn to like 30 or so but given his stack size u will be getting pretty good odds to call if he pushes and will almost always have the worst hand. I think u got out of this hand for the cheapest possible price if u folded to his push, if not i put my money on J full of 7s or 8s/the flopped str8.

there wasn't really that much to this hand...i mainly wanted to illustrate that my downswing is finally over. i called b/c something didn't feel right and he had 45.

last night i had 850.00 at one table, and ~600.00 on another in NL100 6 max, and the sick part is that i'm still down ~200.00 from the downswing. to other people going through downswings i'd advise posting the hands that you think that you "just got unlucky" in b/c when i did that, people pointed out that i misplayed them. i would probably never have realized this without posting the hands. i think that it helps to realize that part of your neverending losing sessions can be controlled by you, and is not necessarily just due to bad luck.

Im glad to see your downswing is over -- up 13 buyins in one session at two tables is always a treat

I was running insanely cold for basically two weeks and in my last 24h of playing +9 buyins
