I only have about 5,000 hands at 200NL but the difference is marginal so far.

The biggest thing I have had to get used to is the larger amount of money in play, and getting better at table selection. It seems like there are more UBER lags at this level so you have to pick your seats better against such an opponent.

From my limited experience I thought the jump from 50 NL to 100 NL was greater.

I jumped straight from NL25 to NL100 (didn't notice much difference) and then after 10K hands to NL200. Still don't notice very much difference. A bit tighter preflop, still terrible postflop. And there are plenty of people who are way too loose preflop, too.

I think the difference between 50 NL and 100 NL is huge. At 50 NL almost everyone is a fish and let themselves be overrun all the time. At 100 NL there are still fish, but also quite a few players who know how to play and wont let you dominate the table so easily.

Alright, apparently this should definitely be in my FAQ.

I'm going to have to disagree on this one. In my opinion, the FAQ shouldn't go into things as specific as different level games on different sites (if you're going to include this for Party, it'd be best to include it for other sites as well which would make the FAQ even longer than it already is).

I think the best FAQs are short and cover only the essentials (what types of hands belong here, what information to include in a post (reads, stack sizes, etc.), sample size warnings for winrate and other calculations, et al). Just my opinion.

I sent the draft to Mat and he requested I make a few changes. Mainly linking to discussions about Poker Tracker and the books I reccommended. I'm working on it, but kinda busy lately.

Well the FAQ is for frequently asked questions, and this one comes up more than win rate questions. Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I seem them all the time, and it gets annoying to me. The FAQ will likely just say, "$50 is a weak game. $100 isn't much different. $200 isn't much different from $100, but has a few more regulars. $400 is also a soft game for a good, solid player, but less tables."

Something simple and to the point, just to cut back on the number of threads this query generates.
