Default Quick brainstorm -- favorite retired sports personalities

I'm at work casting a show and I need a good list of everyone's favorite retired sports figure -- someone with a strong, interesting personality; possibly edgy, possibly funny; just someone you like to watch off the field/court. Eg., John McEnroe, Dennis Rodman, Troy Aikman, John Madden, etc.

Thanks!

Who, Theo Epstein?

Most of the ones that pop to mind are already in the broadcast booth somewhere, like Rex Hudler.

I'm assuming this is for some sort of reality show?

I should probably hate him, but I get a kick out of Barkley.
