Mad at myself for this one, should I be?
Just switched to Poker Stars, playing some 2$ MTT to test the water. This hand, I'm BB with 5000-ish and TT. Blinds 100/200. Villain 1 utg had about the same size stack, opens for 700. I think "Ah HA!" 1 fold, Villain 2 goes all in for around 1800. I think "Hm-m-m" 2 folds, Villian 3 with about 7500 raises to 3600. About 100 left to ITM.
I folded, muttering and cursing. I thought I might have been a coin-flip to villians 1 and 2, but villain 3's min raise scared the bejeezers outta me, at least as far as my chances for this hand. I think I did the right thing, from a long term perspective, but maybe not. Maybe in a higher buy-in? Villain 1 pushes, villain 3 calls Their hands in white: Villain 1 shows 77 Villain 2 shows Kd 4d Villain 3 shows As 8s So, what do you think? easy decision here? I figured my chances were .5 X .6 X .25 about 7.5% 13:1-ish. Regards Gar |

man that's some pretty terrible poker they were playing.
this is an automatic laydown everytime. i might even lay down QQ here. i would lay down JJ. would likely lay down AK with no FE. |
