Early Exit...Mistake?
I have QQ, and there are two limpers. I raise to 100. 1st limper raises to 320. 2nd limper folds, and I push. 1st limper shows AA. I'm out.

Re: Early Exit...Mistake?
So what types of hands do you like to limp re-raise with?

Re: Early Exit...Mistake?
Limp re-raises ALMOST always spell AA or KK, except when executed by a donk, usually on a pretty short early stack (because they play 1 tourney at a time, are bored with their short-stack that they can't play a lot of hands with, and are ready to either double-up or get eliminated so they can start the next one).
Other than that, early in a tournament - limp re-raisers will almost always show you AA, sometimes KK. Still, you're not laying down QQ without a pretty solid read. I might call and push a non A or K flop. This happens from time to time...move on. |

Re: Early Exit...Mistake?
If someone limps and reraises me I get very suspicious but Ive been shown A10,AJ,AQ so often its hard for me to lay down hands, But normally I just call the reraise and see the flop and go from there. But with Party's 800 chip stacks its hard to make plays here. Call the reraise and its almost half your stack.

Re: Early Exit...Mistake?
I just can't see calling or folding.
A smart person limp-reraising means crap, but sometimes people just get tired of being raised out of their limps, so you're going to be 70/30 a lot more than you think. |
