Default PLO8 -- 2nd nut low + dummy straight

Does anybody fold on the turn here? The most likely hand that v1 has is A2, although he does raise preflop a lot, so it isn't certain.

What about raising the river after v1 is allin?

$600 PL Omaha Hi/Lo
Hero ( $1157.70 ), v2 ( $330.71 ), v4 ( $689.46 ),
folder1 ( $1333.07 ), folder3 ( $463.75 ), folder5 ( $496.95 ),
folder2 ( $556.45 ), v1 ( $264 ), folder4 ( $210 ),
folder6 ( $594 )

Dealt to Hero [ 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ]

folder3 posts small blind [$3].
folder5 posts big blind [$6].
folder2 folds, v1 raises [$21], Hero calls [$21],
v2 calls [$21], folder6 folds, folder4 folds,
v4 calls [$21], folder1 folds, folder3 folds, folder5 folds

FLOP: (90.00) [ K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ]
v1 checks, Hero checks, v2 checks, v4 checks

TURN: (90.00) [ 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ]
v1 bets [$90], Hero calls [$90], v2 folds,
v4 calls [$90]

RIVER: (360.00) [ K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ]
v1 is all-In [$153]
Hero calls [$153], v4 calls [$153]

Results in white below:
<font color="#FFFFFF">
v1 shows [ 3d, Kh, As, 2s ] three of a kind, kings.
v1 shows 7,6,5,2,A for low.
Hero shows [ 3h, 4h, Ah, 4c ] a straight, three to seven.
Hero shows 7,6,5,3,A for low.
v4 shows [ Ac, 8s, 9d, Tc ] a straight, five to nine.
v4 shows 8,7,6,5,A for low.

v4 wins $409.50 from the main pot with a straight, five to nine.
v1 wins Lo ($409.50) from the main pot with 7,6,5,2,A.

I'd probably have jammed the turn. I really don't like the call as you just give a free card to all sorts of hands and have to make tough river decisions. any 5,6,7,8,9,K and then what do you do. Unless you get a 2 your hand is not improving so why give cheap cards and then get money in.

This is a tough situation because Villan1 misplayed his hand and decided to try and go for a check raise instead of betting out. This left you in the ackward spot of having what seemed to be a free shot at an open ended straight draw. I think you played it perfectly. There really is not much else you could have done, unless you had xray vision and knew the other hands you really couldnt bet because you just had an open ended straight draw and second low, not a really big holding. You had to check on the flop. You could have raised on the turn, but since no one made a move on the flop its obvious no set is out there and there is no flush draw, you definately want to pull as many people as you can in that spot. The river is irrelevant no one has your straight beat no one made a move on the flop. Overall I like the play in every street, just really bad luck.

it looks suspicious that v1 raised PF and then checked the flop... i'd be tempted to put a half-pot bet in on the flop for information

as it went, i'm definitely not folding on the turn or river

Bottom end of the straight, second low, out of position, few outs to improve (and I'm not holding my breath for a deuce)... I guess I'm the odd man out, I'd have folded the turn

And raising a paired board after the all-in? What exactly do you think v4 would call that with?

What about potting it on the river? v1 is all-in anyway and so if you have decided to call then you only need to worry about v4. Against v4, he needs to use all 4 cards to scoop you, which is pretty unlikely. If he does only have a straight for high here, then he might lay it down....leaving you to get the high against v1.

Thats actually the only play that I would try, but I doubt he would fold I mean you didnt make a move all hand, then all of a sudden betting, most people will call that. Still that is the only move that I think would have been worth a shot, I mean maybe he folds.

This is what I regret about the hand. Potting the river would have represented a boat, which might have scared the sh.t out of a higher straight. An A2 would have still called, so I wouldn't lose any money if I was 3/4ing.
