Default A poker tracker question

I just wondered if I could start using poker tracker in play money games. Would this help me out at all?

Well... I mean if you didn't know how to play poker, didn't know the hand rankings, didn't understand what beats what and how betting works, then I would certainly advocate a little play money before taking the leap and making a deposit. But if you're at the point where you are ready to start tracking your stats with pokertracker, make the jump to 1 cent 2 cent on stars. I know its a large, perilous jump, fraught with the risk that you could go on a 300 big bet losing streak and lose six dollars, but its one we all had to make at some point. If you are underage and can't play for real money, and really want to track your stats with play money for that reason, a better place to post this would be on the poker tracker forums at www.pokertracker.com.
