that is silly. why would he minraise? if he had QJ then he could make a move on the turn when it was tougher to get away from. he might have AK and thought he was trapping (or two pair). tough to tell without a read. you can't call i don't think, b/c no turn card will make your decision easier. thus, you either reraise or fold depending on the read.

EDIT: basically because, as the other poster said, I think it's a push or fold, and if you're pushing he is not likely to call with anything that you beat. So you either win what's in the pot right now, or lose a buy-in.
