Default AKs on a flush board, wrong suit

I have just started playing shorthanded, this is my first post on this forum. Here it goes.

BB seemed to be an ok player.
When he checkraises flop I put him on a draw or a J or Q. I do think he would just check/called flop and turn with a Q though and bet the river.
With my gutshot and overcards I raise the turn to make him pay for a straight draw and make him fold a J or a low pocket. It will be hard for him to stay with something like that and I can easily fold to a 3bet (no odds because of tainted outs).
I called the river hoping he was on a busted straight draw and to see what he had.

Comments?

Calling the river is bad.

Looks like spewitry to me.

Maybe I could buy it on a blankish turn, but if you didn't have the best hand beforeon the flop, everything just got there on the turn. Sure it seems like you have plenty of outs but you could be reverse dominated or drawing dead in a small pot. Release on the turn.

You're hoping for the heartless KT. I really rather just not know instead of lighting a BB on fire but that's just me.

Despite the results this hand was played very badly. Fold the turn probably. Fold the river for sure

So your bad play in this hand got awared with luck. Don't let the results trick you into making this mistake regulary.
Fold the turn, fold the river.

I see you didn't trust the advice at the micro-thread here which I respect (you get bad advice on SH several times at micros). I guess you are convinced now.

yeah this was bad.. river = such a clear fold. probably on turn too.

Loosening up from Full ring to 6m is +Ev.. What you are doing is -EV-EV-EV.

I suspected (almost knew) I should have folded. I had been run over and had to fold all the time at the table so I decided to take a stand. Probably the wrong time...
