Default Yet another QQ hand

Villain is a typical fish, although even more passive than usual.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (8.40 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, Button folds, BB folds.

Turn: (5.20 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero...

Well we're at two overcards now, and we all know how much they love to call down if they gots an Ace. Should I still fire away here? If he raises I can of course call and probably c/f the river if I don't hit my six outs. If he calls and I'm U/I on the turn, what then?

I have a feeling I should know how to handle these by now but I really don't

Small pot, but you still can't fold the turn should you bet and have him raise.

I think I would rather check/call him down. He's got to be staying in for some reason...

Edit: He did not raise the flop to get a free turn card so I don't feel as bad about possibly giving him one. Hopefully he is not on a flush draw.

Bets. At these stakes, villain could easily be on a diamond draw, a 4, a T, a pocket pair, or whatever.

**grunch**

I would still bet the turn. If he calls, bet out on the river with a safe card. If he raises, call and see what the river brings.

My question to anyone is let's say he does raise. You check the river and he bets. The river is 10BB. Do you still fold the river with this big of a pot?

*Posting blind*

Call me weak-Tight, But im check/calling and probably folding river UI.

Infact im strongly considering folding to a bet with no reads here... I'm not betting, Ace or King Holders will probably call you down (and win).

Its very common on this stakes IMO, Im currently playing them

Well here's the unsurprising conclusion:

Hero bets, MP1 calls.

River: (7.20 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 9.20 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Qh Qc (one pair, queens).
MP1 has 9h Ad (one pair, aces).
Outcome: MP1 wins 9.20 BB.

Sometimes I wonder if the fish simply let us hang ourselves in situations like these. Naaaaah.

lol yeh, Thats life. IMO most of these situations you lose (At these stakes) but you get the odd real dumbass/bluffer to call down on.

But even when you call down, You dont win to much... IMO you need reads for these hands, or you prob lose more over time.

Maybe I'm playing too much 6m but I would not bet that river (especially against a passive player). check/fold to a bet...
