Default Releasing my Inner LAG

Party 5/10 6max, 4 handed.

I'm in the SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The UTG player who has played pretty tight so far raises. the CO who was busy being a LAG 3bet, I called (ugh?) and the UTG player called.

flop was 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I checked, planning to see the action and decide. The UTG player bet the CO just called. I felt inspired and checkraised.

yes or no?

No.

Either 3-bet the lag or fold. In this case, I'm probably folding to the tight UTG raise.

The flop isn't inducing any folds, and you're probably drawing thin to 3-6 outs, if that many. The pot's big enough to justify hanging around and seeing a turn, but I'm check-calling this flop.

It really depends on your defintion of tight, but I'm talking about a < 20/10, and if that's the case, I'm definitely folding here.

You may misunderstand me: I'm folding to the LAG's 3-bet, because I'm respecting the UTG raise. If it was just the UTG, I'm much more liable to get involved.
