folds in a row
I just went on a streak where I didn't see the flop for 31 hands in a row. Can anyone beat that? I mean these hands were strictly unplayable hands. I'm not being ultra tight here or anything.

Re: folds in a row
I was playing in a Omaha8 game online for two hours and didn't play a single hand, not even from the blinds. Also, I didn't see an ace for the whole time. I ended up playing two hands A224 and took the low of a small pot and played AKK10, made kings full and the lows draws all missed and I scooped it to break even for the day. It happens sometimes. It can also happen the other way around as well. It's important when the cards are really ugly not to start looking at a T7o in MP and thinking it's the best hand you've seen for awhile so you should play it.

Re: folds in a row
About 100 hands... 2.5 hours with 0% VP$IP at Excalibur 2-6. I saw 2 flops free on the blind and mucked to the flop bet. Not a great way to start a vacation (but I got married at the end of it, so it ended up ok)

Re: folds in a row
I dont think its that unusual to go 3 or 4 orbits without seeing the flop and like another poster I know I've gone well over 100 hands without a win before now.

Re: folds in a row
I have seen people join $5 sit-and-go speed tournaments and sit out for the whole thing (folding every hand, so probably 60+ hands) ... and still finish 3rd! |
