I think if you had a stronger read on this guy, you alternativately might want to value bet the river if he's passive. But you don't, so I think it's toss-up between c/c and value bet.

Against a passive player like this, I would rather bet out on the river. You can easily fold to a raise and he'll likely call with smaller pairs than your own that he might not bet if checked to. A more passive player is less likely to bluff here, too.

i bet here. that flop has 1 draw, so i think you'll see calls from ace high and underpairs.

it's also easy to fold to a raise.
