This is nearly identical to this hand. I don't like the push here either. No shame in folding AQ in EP when you've got a decent stack.

Seems kinda crazy to open fold AQ here. You could raise to 400 or something. I would be surprised if the push is -$EV.

If you can fold low--&gt;mid pocket pair here, you can fold AQ...didn't raptor have a thread about pocket 8s in a similar situation that he folded?

Personally, I would be more than happy to take AQo against any of the shorties...but I don't like the push in the dark (in relation to the big stacks). A simple 3x here IMO would more than communicate to the big stacks that you're prepared to take on a shortie. It leaves you an exit when a big stack comes over the top, or calls -- playing the flop accordingly. Often, I'll find myself amongst big stacks teaming up on the little guys, staying out of each others ways etc....a good time for the minimal 3x stuff.

BUT...I'm not so certain that my willingness to participate in this type of play isn't a leak of mine. I'd like to be the big stack that bitch-slaps the weak, fellow big stack -- knowing there is no way in hell a wimp like me would/could call [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

i dont mind a shove here. yer really only worried about 2 people jumping in there. this must be a 10+1 judging from the stack sizes and the 44 call.. but in anything above 55 or so, i would probably shove. holla
