Default I Don\'t Post Hands Much . . . Please Comment

Villain hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, but had been in a decent amount of hands. Villain is a 28% VPIP, 28% WTSD %, and a 45% W$ at SD. The questions is pretty simple: do you play it like I did or not?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

MP2 ($13.35)
MP3 ($62.4)
<font color="#C00000">CO (Villain)/ ($46.5)</font>
Button ($17.12)
SB ($36.8)
BB ($102.45)
UTG ($27.59)
UTG+1 ($77.44)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($50)</font>
MP1 ($46.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO :#A500AF(Villain)/ calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($2.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $2</font>, Hero calls $2, MP2 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Villain raises to $6</font>, SB folds, BB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $10</font>, Villain calls $40 (All-In), Hero calls $36.

Turn: ($96.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($96.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $96.50

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 3s 3c (three of a kind, threes).
Villain has 2d 4d (straight, six high).
Outcome: Villain wins $96.50. </font>

I hate the smoothcall on the flop. Hate it hate it hate it. Raise that Ish, make the draws pay dearly. And when villain bumps it up and BB folds, just go ahead and push villain in right now. For fold equity. If he calls with amade straight, you've got outs to the boat.

Steal this $12 pot before the turn.

I like raising the original $2. I also raise to more like $14 the second time around and I call the push every single time. This is such an easy board for someone to have a limped overpair, and such an easy board for people to put you on worse hands (54).

Thanks for the comments. I have to tell you, I have been beat by so much today my head has started to spin. I felt for sure that I made the right play here, but it was just one of those hands I had to wonder about later . . .
