Player penalized, forced to sitout during headsup play?

Tell me if anyone can confirm this. I heard from a friend that, during headsup play at one of the WSOP tournaments (i.e., they were down to the final 2), someone was penalized for cursing. The penalty imposed was that the guy had to sit out for 10 minutes, during which time every blind was simply handed over to this opponent. Nevertheless, the guy penalized supposedly proceeded to win the tournament anyway.

Is this true?
